Ever since the release of Randeep Hooda ’s directorial debut ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar ’ teaser, the film has sparked a row, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose ’s grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose on May 30 raged anger and warned the makers of the film that if they show distorted facts, then the nation’s 140 crore people will go against him. He also added that there is no need for Netaji, Bhagat Singh and Khudiram Bose in the film when making a movie on Savarkar.Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose said, “Mr Hooda is a famous actor & director. It’s great that he is making a film about Savarkar, but the film must be made according to Savarkar’s personality. There is no need for Netaji, Bhagat Singh & Khudiram Bose when making a movie on Savarkar. If they show distorted facts, then the nation’s 140 crore people will go against him.”
