Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for a career-high 4,917 yards last season, an improvement over his breakout 2015 campaign. But if the Redskins want to make it back to the playoffs this season, that lost option is pretty much a non-starter. Cutler started five games for the Chicago Bears last season and posted his lowest passer rating (78.1) since 2009. Only 16 managed to produce an above-average passer rating while throwing at least 1,000 pass attempts through the end of the fourth year. Only two — Jim Kelly and Dan Marino — managed to produce an above-average passer rating in each of those years.
