In a week: There are always plenty of reasons to head to Nelson - wine, food, sunshine, wine, food - but next week there are even more than usual. The Nelson Arts Festival runs from October 12 to 24 and is packed with music, comedy, theatre and caberet, in venues all around the city. In a year: In Austin, Texas, the Live Music Capital of the World, where the live performances start as soon as you walk through the airport terminal and continue everywhere you go. There are more than 250 music venues in Austin and it's beginning to move to the top of plenty of travel wishlists by those in the know around the world.
