According to New Age, the Rupban star suffered a heart attack at her residence in Basnasri. Doctors at National Heart Foundation Hospital are waiting for her test results to make decisions regarding stenting in heart. A recipient of Bangladesh National Film Award for Lifetime Achievement, Sujata is best known for playing Rupban Konna in 1965 film Rupban.
