National Assembly majority leader Kimani Ichung'wah has assured President William Ruto of parliament's support in the fight against corruption in government. Ichung'wah said as members of parliament, they will stand by his side and offer the necessary oversight over public funds. "Mr President we want to assure you that we are behind you in this fight against corruption. He lauded him for his bold step to crack the whip on individuals suspected to be behind the Kemsa scandal. On the financial bill 2023, Ichung'wah claimed those opposed to it are doing so because of propaganda.
