#IbadanBuildingCollapse: Eye witness, survivor share experiences, say ‘no life was lost’

The tragic collapse of a building in Ibadan, Friday evening, left residents in the area shocked as many said they could still not imagine themselves seeing live a two-storyed building caving in with people trapped underneath. “Two people were transferred to UCH, while the remaining four were sent to Molete Medical Centre,” the eye witness said. But when Tribune Online visited the Molete Medical Centre, one of the nurses said they’ve discharged the patients, saying they treated them as patients and have already been discharged. Also, one of the victims who was transferred to the UCH said he was back home as he was not satisfied with the response of the doctor who attended to him. “I think I had to come home because I was not okay with the doctor’s response at UCH but the second victim was still there as of the time I left,” the survivor said.
