Cork GAA have announced that St Finbarr's Ian Maguire has been appointed the captain of the Cork senior football team for the upcoming season taking over from Castlehaven's Brian Hurley. The midfielder made his first championship appearance for Cork in the All-Ireland series round four qualifier match against Sligo in 2014.
