KUALA LUMPUR: Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Sdn Bhd has implemented proactive measures to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus. This includes:- Temporary closure of its payment and inquiry counter in its headquarters, customer service centres nationwide, UTC and IWK Certifying Agencies from March 20 to 31. In a statement it also encouraged its customers to make payment of sewerage service bills via IWK's official website, Indah Water mobile application, internet banking and JomPAY. It also said there was no known case of any IWK employee being infected with Covid-19. The maintenance of all 6,952 IWK Sewage Treatment Plants and 1,236 IWK network pumping stations continue as usual with a 50 per cent reduction in IWK workforce, it said.
