Police identified the deceased as Shihabul Islam Khan Shihab, 25, a student of business at IUB. ADC Islam said that Shihab’s parents returned to the apartment from their village at 9pm on Friday and found Shihab’s room locked. Shihab’s parents had left for Madaripur on Wednesday. Shihab’s mother Shahina Sultana also said Shihab used to abuse drugs and had friends that she believes exerted a negative influence on him. We are trying to find out more about the people Shihab used to do drugs with,’ Islam said.
