Aruna Quadri dropped one spot from 15th to 16th in the latest International Table Tennis Federation world rankings for October, The PUNCH reports. Despite the drop, the 34-year-old is still the top-ranked player in Africa, having accumulated 1,175 points during the month under review. Egypt’s Omar Assar is second in Africa after he retained his 20th spot in the world ranking. Diaw is ranked 98 with 208 points while Mati is placed 99th in the latest ranking having recorded 207 points in the month under review. Olajide Omotayo, Bode Abiodun, Amadi Omeh also moved up in the latest ranking published by the ITTF.
