Photo: Hemant Mishra/MintMumbai: Shares of information technology (IT) stocks plunged further on Wednesday on the concerns over implications on the Donald Trump administration’s H1B visa policy changes which is likely to impact financials of these companies. BSE IT index fell 2.4%. Alongside, a draft legislation, which among other things, calls for more than doubling the minimum salary of H1B visa holders to $130,000, was introduced in the US House of Representatives.
