more-inNavigant India, a Technopark company, has begun a campaign to promote menstrual hygiene. Titled the #PADAID campaign, it seeks to create more gender sensitivity and to break the taboos around menstruation. A pad bank is being created within the organisation by common donations from employees and will be donated to Sakhi Resource Centre, an NGO based out of the State capital. The Sakhi Resource Centre would make the sanitary napkins available to women in coastal and tribal areas. The main aim is to build constructive conversation around the topic of menstrual hygiene and break the stereotypes and taboos around menstruation, a release said.
