ISRO scientists sing a different tune


Now the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have proved that arts and music too are within their grasp. A group of scientists, employed in the Thiruvananthapuram centres of the ISRO, i.e., the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) and ISRO Inertial Systems Unit (ISRO), have come up a ‘patriotic music video’ under the banner of the Space Engineers Association. The scientists are involved in all the aspects of the “I am an Indian” music video, including cinematography, orchestration, music, singing, editing and lyrics. A creation of 21 ISRO employees, the music video aims at projecting national integration. “Being music enthusiasts, we always aspired to do something different from our routine and official work.
