Share:ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and Afghanistan have amicably resolved through negotiations the issue of erecting a long fence on the border, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmed Khan said yesterday. Mansoor had arrived in Islamabad as part of the Pakistani delegation which attended the recently held OIC extraordinary moot on Afghanistan. Afghanistan, Pakistan resolved border fencing issue through talksWhen asked about the US report on the presence of ISKP in Afghanistan, the Ambassador endorsed the report and said ISKP fighters are in large numbers in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. "ISKP fighters are getting huge foreign funding and support in Afghanistan which is alarming and needs to be stopped", Mansoor said. Whatever Pakistan is doing for Afghanistan is purely on humanitarian grounds because Afghanistan is a brotherly country and if it is stable and peaceful, Pakistan and the region are stable and peaceful", Ambassador Mansoor remarked.
