ISIS tightens its grip on its 3,000 sex slaves

While the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is losing territory in its self-styled caliphate, it is tightening its grip on the estimated 3,000 women and girls held as sex slaves. The militants are tightening their grip on the estimated 3,000 Yazidi girls and women they hold as sex slaves, creating a database to identify them so they can't sneak away. ISIS militants took this photo of Yazidi girl Nazdar Murat as part of a database the militants have put together of Yazidi girls and women they have enslaved. Clothing worn by a Yazidi girl enslaved by ISIS militants, collected by a Yazidi activist. Nuri Murat was enslaved by ISIS in August 2014 when militants overran Yazidi villages and towns.
