THE Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) says its members across the country will proceed on strike immediately schools reopen from the COVID-19 lockdown. NASU is an umbrella body of non-teaching staff in all the federal universities, polytechnics and colleges of education nationwide. He said the government deceived the leadership of the union into believing that the IPPIS platform would take care of all issues affecting workers. He added that unless the issues are resolved before schools are reopened, the union would certainly embark on the warning strike, and declare indefinite strike subsequently if the situation still persists.
