Earlier, Umesh Yadav registered his best bowling figures in IPL as Kolkata Knight Riders restricted a power-packed Punjab Kings batting line-up to just 137. Umesh finished with 4 for 23 - two in the powerplay and two in the middle overs - while Tim Southee picked two as Kolkata bundled out Punjab in 18.2 overs. The remaining bowlers, especially the spinners complemented them perfectly in the middle overs, conceding 37 runs in eight overs, comprising 27 dot balls and two boundaries between themselves.
