INX Media case: Enforcement Directorate gives Karti Chidambaram 10 days to vacate residence

The Enforcement Directorate issued a notice to Karti Chidambaram, son of former Union minister P Chidambaram, on Thursday to vacate his Jor Bagh residence in Delhi, which was earlier attached by the agency in the INX Media corruption case in which they are accused. Karti, however, challenged the notice and alleged that the Central government was pursuing a politically motivated vendetta against his family. The property is situated at 115-A block 172, Jor Bagh, New Delhi and was attached by the ED on October 10, last year. The property was jointly owned by Karti and his mother Nalini Chidambaram. In his plea, Karti said: "Central government has been pursuing a politically motivated vendetta against the family of P Chidambaram."
