New Delhi: A special court on Friday issued production warrant for P. Chidambaram on a plea by Enforcement Directorate seeking his custody in the INX Media money laundering case. The senior Congress leader is currently in judicial custody in the case filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The special court on 3 October extended the judicial custody of Chidambaram till 17 October in the case filed by the CBI. The Delhi High Court had on 30 September dismissed the bail plea of the veteran Congress leader in the money laundering and corruption case related to INX Media. Thereafter, the ED lodged a money laundering cases against him.
