Friday Olokor, AbujaThe Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Mahmoud Yakubu, said on Wednesday that the electoral body used electoral officers as observers during foreign elections to expose them to global best practices. He also boasted that since its establishment, the commission had remained the most improved public service agency in the country. According to him, elections it conducted since 1999 had shown that INEC had been improving every year. He said INEC had significantly improved from where it used to be in 1999. He said, “If you look at what happened to our elections since 1999, you will know that INEC is the most improved public service in Nigeria.
