Chidiebube Okeoma, OwerriGovernor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has said that the Independent National Electoral Commission alone cannot guarantee credible elections. Okorocha who spoke in Owerri, the state capital, said that for the elections to be credible, security Agencies and religious organizations must play critical roles. The governor said, “I have confidence in INEC but the truth is that INEC alone cannot guarantee credible elections. Religious organizations and other stakeholders in society have to be involved. Canvassing support for the Action Alliance governorship candidate, Uche Nwosu, Okorocha said that the state would be in safe hands with Nwosu as his successor.
