Share:Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication, Dr Shahbaz Gill has called the latest IMF report a metaphoric representation of a tight slap on the faces of inept opposition. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has amended Pakistan’s GDP growth projection for 2021 and validated the government’s GDP projection. He went on to say that earlier in April 2021, the IMF had estimated it to be 1.5pc. Shahbaz Gill further revealed that the report has unveiled that due to strong economic activity in Pakistan, the GDP estimates had been revised. Recognition of Pakistan’s projection by IMF was proof of the recovery of the economy.
