KUALA LUMPUR: IHH Healthcare Bhd has merged its Bulgaria-based indirect units, Acibadem City Clinic EAD and Tokushukai-Sofia EOOD, as part of its internal structural re-organisation on Sept 8, 2017. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, IHH said, prior to the merger, Acibadem City and Tokushukai-Sofia were wholly-owned directly by its subsidiary, Acibadem City Clinic B.V.IHH said following the exercise, all assets and liabilities of Tokushukai-Sofia were transferred to Acibadem City Clinic and Tokushukai-Sofia has been subsequently dissolved. It said the internal re-organisation was undertaken to streamline Acibadem group’s structure and management. "There shall be no material effect on IHH’s earnings, net assets or gearing for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2017," it said.
