KUALA LUMPUR (March 7): IHH Healthcare Bhd's indirect 30%-owned Clinical Hospital Acibadem Sistina Skopje has established two subsidiaries in Macedonia to provide outpatient medical services. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, IHH, the world's second largest healthcare group by market capitalisation, said Clinical Hospital Acibadem Sistina Skopje had established Ordinacija po Interna Medicina Acibadem Sistina Bitola 24 and Poliklinika Acibadem Sistina Bitola 27 in Macedonia on Feb 15 and 17, respectively. According to IHH, both subsidiaries have no issued and paid-up share capital as the governing Macedonian laws allow a health institution to be registered without share capital. "The intended principal activities of Medicina Sistina and Poliklinika Sistina are provision of outpatient medical services," it said. Located in Southeastern Europe, north of Greece, Macedonia has a population of near to 2.1 million, according to the World Bank.
