Charles Aseidu and Nana Ato Dadzie are dragging the IGP to court over contempt. The decision follows the IGP's failure to comply with a Court ruling in favour of Sergeant Bawa Abdul Jalil who was wrongfully interdicted for nine years. A Tema High Court finally granted the plaintiff's request and asked the Ghana Police Service to immediately reinstate Seargent Bawa and pay in full his nine years frozen salary. "The judgement certificate has be filed and served on both the Attorney General and the police service after the judgement. In my candid opinion, the police administration is delibrately frustrating me and that is why my lawyers are heading to the Court."
