The electoral commission has received 36,769 forms 34A and posted them on its public portal, chairman Wafula Chebukati has said. Via Twitter on Friday, Chebukati said they have also received 57 forms 34B following the repeat presidential election on Thursady. The chairman said on Thursday night that at least 35,664 polling stations were opened for the election. Chebukati said some 5,319 polling stations did not send an opening message but noted they had received 27,124 forms 34A, representative of 80 per cent of polling stations.
