Plans to bring all organisations promoting entrepreneurship on single platformISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) organised an “Investors Connect Program” (ICP) on Thursday. Participants of UNIDO’s Global Cleantech Innovation Program (GCIP) presented their ideas to potential investors for future commercialisation. Appreciating ICCI’s initiative, he urged investors to support innovators, while stressing for a mechanism and system to address barriers to entry for young entrepreneurs. Special counters for foreignersICCI President Sheikh Amir Waheed said that that public-private partnership models should be developed to support innovators. He assured that ICCI would continue to partner with UNIDO in initiatives aimed at promoting innovators, start-ups and SMEs.
