more-inThe 2018 International Business Festival (IBF) at Liverpool, U.K. is likely to witness 100% increase in business deals as well as the participating Indian delegates, said a senior official. With this year’s edition, the total value of deals signed from three editions (2014, 2016, 2018) would touch £1 billion collectively. The percentage of participating Indian delegates was also expected to double from 9% to 18-20%, said Ian McCarthy, festival director, IBF. It will have dedicated sector days for the Indian firms such as manufacturing, future transport, global logistics and shipping and global economics, he said. Each day of the 2018 event will focus on a different high-growth business sector, including global economics, future transport, creative industries, manufacturing and health and life-sciences.
