MANILA, Philippines — The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) will submit its proposal to President Duterte regarding the quarantine classifications of different areas in the country for the month of January 2021 after Christmas, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said Sunday. Nograles, co-chair of the IATF, said this as he branded as “fake news” the rumors that Metro Manila will revert to the stricter modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in light of the holiday season.
