MADRID (March 12): International Consolidated ​Airline Group's ‌Spanish carrier Iberia said ​on Thursday ​it plans to ⁠lay ​off up to ​996 workers. Iberia said it had ​established ​a timetable for negotiations ‌with ⁠workers' representatives. The cuts will ​include ​106 ⁠pilots and cabin ​crew and ​753 ⁠ground crew, Iberia ⁠said.
