National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung'wah has taken a jibe at Azimio MPs over donations they made to victims of last week's protests. "Na nimeona wamechanga pesa...Wabunge sijui milioni moja na nusu wabunge kama mia moja na kitu, milioni moja tu na nusu? He echoed Azimio leader Kalonzo Musyoka's remarks that those lives should not have been lost and called for a solution to the crisis. "I want to acknowledge with grateful thanks the contribution of our brother Uhuru Kenyatta of Sh1 million, and of our brother Raila Odinga of Sh1 million, and I'm escorting them with half a million shillings, " Kalonzo said. National Assembly Minority leader Opiyo Wandayi said MPs had given Sh1.5 million shillings for the victims.
