Luanda MP Dick Maungu has vowed to vote against the Finance Bill 2023. Speaking to Star via the phone on Wednesday, Maungu said he won't support the bill that is currently being proposed by the Kenya Kwanza administration. He said President William Ruto’s government has betrayed the hustler nation that voted for him in the August general elections. "What the​​ hustler Nation expected from President Ruto is now the opposite of what he promised," the lawmaker said. "I won't support it because it's going to cause more harm to our economy more so to small-scale traders," Maungu.
