The known NPP sympathizer says he will not defend the party if it renege on the promise. He continued that prior to the 2012 general elections in Ghana, Nana Addo consulted him and some other stakeholders in the creative arts industry and assured them of his resolve to revamp the creative arts industry and also deliberated on how to bring the industry to a solid footing. Socrates Sarfo accused the current the Minister for Tourism and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare of having no knowledge about the industry, adding this has contributed to what he describes as her abysmal performance since she assumed office. The vociferous movie producer indicated that the creative arts industry is the fourth most lucrative business in the world after drugs, oil and arms business but it is poorly managed in Ghana.
