Bayern Munich have appointed Vincent Kompany as their new manager after agreeing a compensation package of around £10m with Burnley. Kompany has signed a three-year contract with Bayern, who made a surprise move for him after failing to persuade Thomas Tuchel to remain at the end of the season. 'I want the team to be aggressive. I want the team to represent those two things that would make my character is absolutely brave when they have the ball,' Kompany said.
