At least, that is a lesson Ms Chanya Mwanyota, has learnt while running her nine virtual restaurants under her company, Soul Food Limited. Her virtual restaurants are embedded to taxi service providers mainly Safe Boda and Uber. One can order food from any of her restaurants by going into either Uber Eats, Safe Boda-Food, Glovo Food or Jumia Food. “The beauty with virtual restaurants, is that if it is not working, you can kill it and start another one,” she says. For now, her virtual restaurants are available to customers within three kilometres radius from her Mataam Swahili Restaurant.
