I quit BBC because they preferred to lie to public than report the truth FREDERICK FORSYTH

The BBC is a huge amalgam of different departments or “divisions” generating different products which no one objects to. Would you describe the football coverage as biased, or any of the enormous reportage of sport? In spring 1968 I walked out in disgust from my BBC post as Assistant Diplomatic Correspondent, number two to Chris Serpell, head of foreign affairs coverage. So it was denied; my despatches suppressed; my character assassinated and I was recalled when I refused to shut up. The flaw in the Post Office computer, that accused honest and innocent subpostmasters of fraud and destroyed their lives, was known about in the corridors years before it was admitted.
