Samson FolarinThe governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has denied signing any pact not to run for a second term. While expressing confidence that he would win the state governorship election, Sanwo-Olu said the celebration of the Peoples Democratic Party over the crowd at its campaigns was misplaced, adding that crowds do not translate to votes. The governorship candidate spoke on a television programme, The Verdict, hosted by Channels TV. His media team, which monitored the programme, said the APC flag bearer promised to put the welfare of Lagos residents first. At any rate, there is only one term of four years on the INEC form, so it will be up to the people of Lagos State to determine whether I deserve another term, based on my performance,” he said.
