Believe it or not, I was actually meant to be going to Hibs and it changed when I was on my way up to Hibs. At the time, Watford were trying to sign Ryan Porteous (from Hibs) and we also had an injury crisis. Aberdeen were actually playing Hibs that weekend and we (Watford) had Middlesbrough. Hibs had beaten Aberdeen 6-0 and then I saw the manager (Jim Goodwin) had left. ‌"I spoke to Hibs and nothing against them but I just felt I was going to help somebody else sign for Watford.
