But there's one character who has won a disproportionate number of hearts to the minutes she spent on screen: Barb. Barbara Holland, to give Shannon Purser's character her full name, is the normal-sized, flame-haired, bespectacled friend of doe-eyed good girl Nancy Wheeler. However, there's one aspect which has kept people especially captivated: the show's characters.
