Because I pay my balance off in full every month, it stung to know that all that money was disappearing soon. Any month where I spend more than I save is obviously not a great financial moment for me. Thoroughly freaked out, I vowed to initiate a spending freeze on all disposable income for one month. I realized how often I think about ways to spend money. In having to tell myself no so often, it struck me just how much I wanted to go do something purely in the name of spending money.
