Pei, an architect whose graceful grids of glass and metal redrew skylines around the world, died in New York City. He was 102 years old. Mr. Pei honed his style with the spare geometry of the East Building of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the elegant glass pyramid at the Louvre in Paris and other projects that kept him working into his 90s.
