Ever since we gave him the green light to grow pot, he had been studying the most effective methods for planting and harvesting it. Other high school seniors might be rebuilding a car engine; my son wanted to grow pot. The special lights and steady watering made the plants grow and grow. He decided he’d use his time to grow pot again, only this time in a special zippered-up closet in his room. I realize that some parents may question my decision to allow my teenage son to grow pot, and I agree it’s not for every kid.
