I've been playing PUBG consistently for a year now, so naturally when I saw a goofy, childish looking game called Fortnite finally topple it from the top of Twitch's most watched games, I scoffed. I've collected a few of my first impressions for any fellow PUBG players who have yet to dip their toes into the world of Fortnite. The animation style of Fortnite gives it room for a dynamic range of movement, weapon effects, and even emotes. Admittedly, many of my other matches didn't go nearly as well, but I was happy to see that Fortnite's gunplay was relatively consistent with what I was familiar with. Fortnite's building solves this problem brilliantly, and adds a whole new dynamic to the arena.
