Those who know me are aware that my favorite historical point for the United States is the War of 1812. But a good country doesn't sweep problems under a rug. And a good country allows people to speak their minds, and even make televised protests. People are still looking for the remains of students in Mexico who dared to protest the government and drug lords. Donald Trump said that if Kaepernick doesn't like this country, he's free to go to another one (he is, of course).
