The game looked like a done deal for Kotoko who were up by a goal until Adjah Tetteh scored a late goal from the edge of penalty box to draw parity. Heart nicked it with 8-7 shootout victory to win what has turned out to be their last continental trophy. Tetteh told Eastern Region-based Tru FM that fans still praise him for that goal. He attributed the victory that handed Hearts the ‘Virgin Cup’ to an act of divinity.
