Paul Scothern, for the prosecution, told Ipswich crown court: “Identification was made in Luxembourg with photographs and fingerprint evidence taken around the time… A man accused of a double murder in rural Suffolk is disputing his identity, a court has been told. Ali Qazimaj, 43, was extradited from Luxembourg to face the charges after the death of Peter Stuart, 75. Asked by a crown court judge if he was Ali Qazimaj, he replied through an Albanian translator: “No, I am Vital Dapi.” He added that he was born Elba Sam in Albania. His wife Sylvia, 69, is missing presumed dead.
