After making a successful Bollywood debut with Ranjhanaa, Dhanush now wants to try his hands at directing Hindi films. Kajol and south Indian actor Dhanush during the promotion of VIP 2, directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth, in Mumbai. The actor has said the film helped him reach a wider audience and he is now planning to increase his sway further by venturing into direction in Bollywood. I’m happy that the kind of films I’m doing right now is reaching a wider audience and I’m looking forward to direct Hindi films as well,” he said. Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 popularly referred to as VIP 2 is a sequel to the 2014 film VIP.
