'Speed thrills but it kills', the adage was proved right in Hyderabad when two youngsters lost life after being crushed under a truck on Saturday. Anirudh was an intermediate student while Vishwa was a first-year degree student and both were residents of Buddha Nagar in Malkajgiri. According to police the trio had gone to Akhil's relative's house in Fatehnagar and were returning to Secunderabad from Bowenpally around 3.30 pm when the accident occurred. The police has registered a case under Section 304A (causing death by negligence) of IPC and the truck driver has been detained. Meanwhile to create awareness on city roads, the Telangana police department is holding a series of programmes across the state to keep people abreast of traffic rules and drive safe stay safe on road.
