An 11-year-old girl studying in a private school in Hyderabad was made to stand in the boys' bathroom as punishment for not wearing her uniform to school. In a video recorded by her parents and handed over to child right activist Achyuta Rao, the girl narrated how the PT teacher took her to the other teachers, who refused to see her dairy in which her parents had written the reason she was wearing her civil dress to school. The girl, who was left shaken by the incident, is now terrified and has refused to return to school.
