HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anees Ahmed Dasti while declaring the installation of heavy billboards on the rooftop of buildings and along the roadside a threat to life and property of the citizens, has asked the departments concerned to prepare a joint strategy for removal of the billboards. Presiding over a meeting with the officers of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, the DC informed that on the directive of the Water Commission of the Supreme Court, a massive operation should be launched for the removal of these billboards in order to protect the life and property of the people. He asked the participants to prepare a joint strategy to initiate a massive operation with the support of the police. The operation of the removal of the billboards would be monitored by the Water Commission of the Supreme Court, he informed.
